Imagine an incumbent Democrat President at a time when America is in a national security crisis with Russia, and that the Republicans were goading Russia to attack American troops, and making every excuse to enhance Russia’s propaganda advantage. The Democrats would rightly be saying that “The Republicans are colluding with Russia, and putting American soldiers at risk.”
But now, America is in a national security crisis situation with Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. And, what are the Democrats doing? They are goading the Iranians into attacking American troops so that the Democrats can gain a “Trump has blown up the world” talking point. In effect, the Democrats are actively colluding with terror-state Iran. Instead of minimizing the military risk to our deployed soldiers, the Democrats are wantonly maximizing the military risk to our soldiers. The Democrats are putting their attempt to gain a political advantage on Trump over the security of our soldiers.
Let us compare Russia and Iran as security threats to the United States. How many American soldiers has Russia murdered in the last 30 years? None, not a single American soldier.
That’s not to say that Russia isn’t a strategic competitor, or strategic adversary. When it was signed, I thought the NEW START Treaty was stupid because Russia is not our only world nuclear opponent, but Obama signed it, and the Senate ratified it with a bi-partisan consensus. But is Russia publicly stating that it wants to wipe Israel off the face of the planet, and physically attempting to arm Israel’s terrorist neighbors in order to eliminateJewish Israelis? No. Was Russia also out to defeat Hitler in World War II (after the pact between Germany and Russia fell apart)? Yes. Has Russia taken over any non-Russian speaking territory in the last 15 years? No. Did Putin give George Bush a heads’ up on the terror attacks of 9/11/1991? Yes, he did. Have Russian proxies been smuggling drugs into America that have been killing Americans? No. Whille Russia is certainly not America’s best friend, it is not exactly an evil entity with which the United States can’t reach a modus vivendi.
Iran has provably murdered 608 American soldiers, this in Iraq alone. In Afghanistan Iran has been sending the Taliban the same type of IEDs to kill Americans. That makes Iran directly responsible for murdering over a thousand American soldiers and causing thousands of severely wounded and permanently maimed soldiers.
Iran and its proxies have murdered hundreds of troops everywhere in the Middle-East and Africa. Remember the Marine barracks in Beirut?
I am not advocating for an American attack on Iran. I am merely pointing out that while no one should collude with Russia on anything, certainly no one should be siding with and colluding with Iran.
Look at America’s ally, Israel. Iran has been actively, and through its proxies, doing everything and anything to murder Israelis simply because they are Jewish. Between Lebanon and Gaza, Iran and its proxies have murdered hundreds of Israelis.
The Persian-speaking Iran has effectively occupied the Arab-speaking Lebanon, Iraq and Northern Yemen, and is eyeing Saudi Arabia for its next victim.
Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah smuggled drugs into America as the Obama Administration turned a blind eye.
The Iran Nuclear deal was a joke in that it only “delayed” a “guaranteed right” of Iran to have a nuclear arsenal for 10 years. Iran is an active National security enemy of the United States.
Yet, the Democrats see fit to take and create every advantage for Iran against the United States, as long as they can attack President Trump as well. The Democrats are cheerleading for a GI-murdering terror-state that is attempting a modern-day genocide against Israel. Isn't there something wrong with this picture?
The Democrats don’t simply have Trump-Derangement Syndrome; they actually seem in sync with the plans of terror-state Iran to obtain hegemony of the Middle East and eradicate Israel. Do any Democrats react negatively when US Representatives Ilan Omar or Rashida Tlaib go on their Israel-hating, Iran-loving rants?
What started with Democrat President Obama’s apology tour is morphing into a Democrat Party that sees America as the enemy.
AOC is right when she says that the Democrat Party’s support is a “generational thing” and the old generation will be gone very soon. To quote AOC, she stated, "Absolutely, and I think to where we're at as a country when it comes to Israel-Palestine is very much a generational thing. I think that when we start looking at it through that lens, a lot of this stuff starts to make sense. It's like what you're talking about, young Jews in Israel are sick of this." What started with Democrat President Obama’s apology tour is morphing into a Democrat Party that sees America as the enemy.
It’s not that Democrats just hate Trump, and that’s why they act as if colluding with Iran. The “AOC Generation” Democrats see Iran as the embodiment of heroic resistance against "evil" America. To those AOC Democrats, America, as we known it, is their “colonialist/racist/white supremacist” enemy. It’s not a coincidence that Iran labels their fight against America and Israel as “The Resistance,” and the Democrats have labeled their war on President Trump as “The Resistance.” Tragically, the Democrats seem to have joined forces with Iran against President Trump, in a sense against America, and soon against Israel.
Explaining how the Democrats see Iran as the heroic resister to President Trump doesn’t make their colluding with the GI-murdering genocidal Iran any better. It makes their actions infinitely more dangerous and deplorable. If it was bad to have allegedly “colluded with Russia,” then it is positively evil to collude with Iran.
Instead of the FBI opening a new investigation of alleged Russian attempts to interfere with the 2020 Election, it should open a counter-intelligence investigation of the Democrats open, inexcusable collusion with the terror-state of Iran.
