Enjoy it while it lasts. Because this can’t go on forever.
Your poking and probing and heckling of Trump have divided and polarized this nation, on this you have succeeded.
New wrinkle. Former Secretary of Labor and Berkeley professor Robert Reich is taking Trump Derangement Syndrome a step further.
He wants Trump’s presidency annulled, abolished. That’s the latest craze. It’s got Liberals very excited.
Now suppose you do topple him, along with Pence – do you think this is how it ends?
Beware the sleeping giant that begins to stir as you waltz with Bernie, rock with Sarsour, and party with Mueller and Comey and Clapper and Brennan and Rep. Adam Schiff and Sen. Mark Warner and Elizabeth Warren and Ocasio Cortez – all for the purpose to bring down this president who was elected fair and square by 63 million of us.
Remember that number, plus millions more, the decent, the hard-working, the patriotic whom you disparage and are losing by the minute through your antics.
THAT is the sleeping giant, now resting. Now watching. Now calculating. Now measuring the proper moment to erupt.
You arouse him at your peril. But on his time. Names are being taken. Slights are being remembered. Insults are being recorded. A day will come.
Not yet. But do not be fooled by what appears to be slumber but what is in fact keeping score for a day of reckoning.
That day will come so long as you keep this up. Send in whichever clowns to replace Trump, say any Hillary reboot, and stand back for a sleeping giant awakened.
There will be hell to pay for your constant hectoring of President Trump. This will not go unanswered, and pray that it is peaceful, whatever comes.
So now, what is it today on your ledger to resist, to harass, to defame this president, and all of it without cause?
Whatever he does, you with the media jump all over him tag-team style. You howl, you holler, you smirk, you rejoice at what you perceive to be his flaws.
What of it if he is not perfect like your precious Obama who came and went without a trace…and without credentials because you never bothered to check.
He left as he came – a community organizer, a pretender who bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia and left Israel high and dry at the United Nations.
We did not choose for us a Saint. We chose for us a President. The sleeping giant is thrilled with the result. On Trump, Trump and his business dealings, Trump and his women – the sleeping giant does not care.
We did not choose for us a Saint. We chose for us a President. The sleeping giant is thrilled with the result.
So, what is today’s rap?
Today it is annulment. Suddenly that, since impeachment is going no place because collusion with Russia has hit a brick wall.
Every day it is something new and the same old thing.
Nice try – but be careful what you wish for. The novelist James M. Cain put it like this: “I write for the wish that comes true – for some reason, a terrifying concept.”
