On Sunday, arabs murdered 22 and maimed dozens of our brothers and sisters in Tel Aviv. And the blaming begins. All kinds of reasonable people are pointing the finger at arafat. Why? Why do we blame arafat? First of all, arafat is an arab moslem terrorist. It is his job to murder Jews. That is what his false god demands. Secondly, if arafat were killed today (which would be a good thing) there are hundreds of millions of arabs and moslems who would gladly murder Jews in his place. Sharon is the Prime Minister of the Jewish State. It is his job to protect Jews. He is not doing his job.
In Sharon's quest for the holy grail of 'security' he misses an important point. No matter how many trips he sends the army on into arab-occupied ramallah to get rid of the terrible terrorist mastermind of the day, no matter how many fences he builds, no matter how many Jews he puts behind walls and barbed wire fences in ghettos, as long as there are arabs in the Land there will be terror in the Land. Every honest proponent of fences or military action in arab-occupied areas will tell you that it will not end arab terror. It will just reduce it for a little while in a small place. Sharon, as the man who is most responsible for the safety of the Jewish people has as his highest goal the replacement of the incessant massacres of Jews with sporadic massacres of Jews. This should be unacceptable to us; this is obscene - how can we not cry out in protest? Six million souls look down on us and cry because six million wasn't enough for us to have learned our lesson.
There is a poster that has been widely distributed in the last year that shows pictures of the hundreds of innocent Jewish men, women, and children that have been murdered by the arabs we allow to live in our Land. These Jews were young and old, religious and not, and came from a hundred lands. You can also go to www.walk4israel.com to see these pictures and their stories online. Check back often, because they are updated almost every day. Whenever you look at those pictures, take a minute to look at a picture that was perhaps taken by a best friend on a happy occasion. Look into the hopeful and smiling eyes of one of these Jews who were murdered and tell them that it's ok that they were blown to pieces, shot, burned or brutally beaten to death, because that is the price to be paid for allowing arabs to live in our Land. Tell them like you mean it, and don't even think of looking away as if you were ashamed. Look them in the eye even after you've said it, to let them know that you are serious.
And if you still think that this is a price that we should pay - that you are willing to have other innocent Jews pay, then move on to the next picture. There are still 703 left for you to talk to.

Our fate will only be determined by arabs if we allow them to determine it. Our fate is in G-d's hands, and our own - and I'll let you in on a little secret: what happened in Tel Aviv on Sunday was not His fault. It doesn't help G-d at all to see His beloved Children in His Land murdered by those less than animals. It really doesn't make Him look good to see arab beasts dance and celebrate the violation of his Holy People in his Holy Land. While the Tel Aviv massacre may not be your fault personally, any Child of Israel with the tiniest amount of genuine Ahavas Yisrael shares the responsibility. If we are not the problem, then we don't have the solution.
After the bombing, I saw many pictures of friends and family of the victims - showing their solidarity with each other, crying, praying, and comforting each other. Can you imagine any of them saying that the best response to the murder of their friends and family would be the murder of only a few more of their friends and family members every now and then in the future?
Why can't we demand a Jewish leader who has as much love of our People as this?
But Sharon makes excuses and justifications to the world, and allows the murderers to stay. And the murderers of our people continue to plot and murder.
