The writer is Director of Overseas Programming of Yeshivat Otniel, where he studied when it was established over 25 years ago and has an M.A. degree from Touro College. He made Aliyah to Israel with his family in 1974, is chairman of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation.The Book of Joshua is the first book of the Early Prophets, beginning the second part of the Tanach.
The Book of Joshua describes the entry of the Jewish people into the Promised Land under Joshua's leadership
