Aaron Keyak, former head of the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC), has been tapped as the Biden presidential campaign's Jewish outreach director, the Jewish Insider reported.

In June, presidential nominee Joe Biden published an online job listing for the position, stating that the chosen candidate "will build and manage a national outreach program to support the political objectives of the campaign."

Currently, Keyak serves as a member of the campaign's finance committee.

In May, he co-hosted a fundraiser for Biden with Jewish Democrats.

Keyak is also co-founder of Bluelight Strategies and in 2012 spearheaded a Jewish outreach team supporting former US President Barack Obama's re-election campaign.
