One Israeli was injured in a stabbing attack on Jerusalem's Beit Yisrael street on Tuesday morning, just minutes after a stabbing at Gush Etzion junction

Magen David Adom (MDA) medics report a 25 year-old man was injured in the attack, which unfolded in the capital's Beit Yisrael neighborhood (off of the haredi area of Geula - ed.), outside a popular bakery. The man is suffering from injuries to his upper body and was transferred to Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center for treatment.

The attacker fled the scene and is still at large.

Police later determined that the attack was criminal in nature - not a terror attack - and have opened an investigation.

Shortly after the first stabbing reports broke, after 8:20 am, Magen David Adom (MDA) reported multiple stabbings in Jerusalem's Ramot neighborhood, on Shechtman St.

Initial reports indicate that a woman on a city bus screamed "terrorist!" as a man was seen fleeing from the area; however, MDA later dismissed the report as a false alarm, after reporting nothing indicating an attack was found at the scene.
