A 48 year-old Emmanuel resident is suffering from serious wounds in a stabbing attack near the Samaria community of Alfei Menashe on Sunday.

The man was stabbed in his car, according to initial reports, as he was driving past the Eliyahu interchange, along Route 55. The interchange is just outside the Arab village of Nabi Elias. Initial reports indicate he may have been driving in that direction in order to shop in the Arab town.

The injured man - despite stomach wounds - drove himself to the nearest IDF checkpoint, where he was spotted weaving through highway lanes; he was reportedly fully conscious and told the soldiers, "I was stabbed, I was stabbed" before fainting.

MDA transferred him to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba in serious condition; he is now on a respirator and being prepped for surgery.

Police, IDF, and Border Police forces have begun a manhunt for the perpetrator, described as a Palestinian Arab man.

This is the third attack in six hours on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, a Palestinian Arab man rammed his car into a popular hitchhiking and bus post at Tapuach Junction along Route 60, injuring four people in their twenties; one is a pregnant woman.

Hours later, 23 year-old Halva Alian stabbed a security guard outside the gate to Beitar Illit, outside Gush Etzion.
