Security forces arrested the father of the Arab terrorist who wounded an Israeli teenager in a stabbing attack last night near Jerusalem's Damascus Gate.

Arab media identified the terrorist as Fadi Alwan, from the neighborhood of Issawiya in Jerusalem.

Alwan struck just hours after an Islamist terrorist from the Islamic Jihad terror group murdered two Israeli civilians and wounded several others - including a two-year-old girl - in a frenzied stabbing and shooting attack.

Alwan's victim was 15-year-old Moshe Malka, who on Sunday morning described to Israeli media how he only survived "through a miracle."

In video footage posted online early Sunday morning, Israeli security forces can be seen surrounding Alwan's house in Issawiya, before arresting his father on suspicion of involvement in the attack.
