The Jerusalem Police have completed their preparations for the fourth Friday of Ramadan tomorrow, which will see tens of thousands of Muslims gathering at the Temple Mount for prayers.

Ramadan has also seen numerous serious terror attacks against Jews. Police will be present in large numbers, on high alert, and expecting trouble.

Police under District Commander, Major General Moshe “Chico” Edri, will fan out from the early morning hours in the checkpoints at the entrances to Jerusalem, and inside the Old City.

Because of the heavy traffic that is expected, police recommend that people going to the Old City do so on foot or in public transport.

Residents of the Jewish Quarter will enter through the Yafo Gate.
