The Palestinian Authority (PA) gave $50,000 as a grant to each terrorist released in the second most recent batch of "gestures" by Israel to continue ongoing peace talks, reports Kol Yisrael.

In addition, Galei Tzahal reported Monday that terrorists who were imprisoned for over 25 years received senior governmental posts with a monthly salary of 14,000 shekels ($4,000).

Those who were in jail for less than 25 years are to receive a monthly stipend of 10,000 shekels ($2,800).

Reports further note that Issa Abd Rabbo, who was lauded as a "national hero," received  $60,000, more than the rest. In addition Rabbo, who murdered a young couple, Ron Levi and Revital Seri, while they were hiking, will have his wedding entirely paid for by the PA if he chooses to marry, reports Srugim.

All this comes after the PA passed a recent law guaranteeing public sector jobs to freed terrorists, and despite the PA reportedly being $4.2 billion in debt.

The move is in line with the ongoing support for terrorism expressed by Fatah, the party headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
