A Russian daily has published an article accusing Israel of injecting Arab prisoners with “dangerous viruses,” which lead to death.
The online edition of Pravda reported Friday that Israeli authorities inject prisoners with viruses prior to their release, which cause “bladder cancer and liver disorders.”
“Most former inmates die after being released from Israeli jails,” the Russian daily alleges.
The paper maintains that the practice has been “brought to light” by Rania Saqa, an Arab prisoner recently released from Israeli detention.
Such libels against Israel are often published in Arab and global media an effort to demonize the Jewish state in the eyes of the international community and lend credibility to enemies who seek its destruction.
