Israeli hotels will be hosting 100 of the IDF's Lone Soldiers – soldiers who immigrated to Israel without their families and who have no relatives in Israel – for the Pesach Seder and several subsequent days.
The soldiers were located by the IDF's Personnel Branch in the course of the last few weeks, with the cooperation of the Society for the Wellbeing of Soldiers, and the Israel Hotels Association has been busy arranging accommodation for them.
Each of the soldiers will receive an all-expenses-paid stay at a hotel, for the Seder and subsequent days.
Among the hotel chains taking part in the making the Lone Soldiers less lonely are the Dan Hotels, Africa Israel, Club Hotel and the Fattal Hotel Chain. Participating hotels include Americana Eilat, Hilton Eilat, Nof in Haifa, Hagoshrim Nature Hotel, Maccabiah Village, Renaissance Tel Aviv, Nes Amim and Maagan Eden in Tverya, Grand Court Jerusalem, Ganei Jerusalem, King Solomon Jerusalem and Har Tzion in Jerusalem.
