After the Sons Made Aliyah, Time for the Parents to Join
Among the 360 olim from North America who arrived in Israel on Tuesday morning were also Robert and Ama Wolf who made aliyah following their sons who did so several years ago.
“The feelings are that I’m united with most of my family,” Ama told Arutz Sheva shortly after she landed at Ben Gurion Airport.
“We’ve wanted to move here for years. For us it was only a matter of time,” added Robert. “We invested in our apartment eighteen years ago, waiting for the day when we both could retire.”
The couple sent their children to yeshiva in Israel, knowing that it would lead to the entire family eventually moving to Israel.
“Once they were here and I knew how they felt about it, I knew that they would want to be here and that we would follow them,” said Ama.
Their son, Josh, said, “They had the dream long before we did and they are just one of many who are continuing to come. We hope to see everybody here, along with my parents and my kids, very very soon.”
