Police estimated the number of participants in the annual Rikudgalim march through Jerusalem at 100,000 – the largest number ever to participate in the parade.

The parade began in Paris Square, passed through the gates of the Old City and ended at the Kotel, where they were to be addressed by MK Uri Ariel, Minister Daniel Hershkowitz, Kotel Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovich and Yakov Novik of the Am Kelavi NGO, which organizes the parade.

In previous years the number of marchers was estimated at 50,000 to 70,000.
