Dr. Itamar Ofer is expected to be appointed head the new "Protect our Parents" project the government is setting up to deal with the protection of the country's elderly during the coronavirus epidemic, Channel 12 News reports.
If he is appointed, he will replace Professor Ronni Gamzu who headed the project until now.
