Senior officials in the Attorney General's office, among them the deputy Attorneys-General, have sent a letter to State Attorney Dan Eldad, attacking him for his criticism of Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit.
"We are shocked at your conduct, and there is no place for such behavior in an organization whose values are those of truth and upright observance of the law," the letter stated, adding that, "We chose to respond to the shameful conduct ... in an unprecedented manner."
