Researchers at the University Hospital in Turin, Italy are claiming that blood clots produced by COVID-19 in the body are responsible for patients' death - not pneumonia.
They said this was evident from post-mortems performed by the researchers on some-100 patients. As a result, they are calling for blood thinners to be given to patients along with additional medications.
