Deputy Director-General of the Health Ministry, Professor Itamar Grotto, refuses to apologize to the Director of Hadassah hospital, Professor Ze'ev Rothstein, after calling his actions a "betrayal of his homeland."
He made the remarks following the decision of Prof. Rothstein to test Hadassah's medical staff for coronavirus of his own accord.
Grotto told Army Radio that: "He didn't interrupt the chain of transmission of the virus, because there were staff members that he didn't detect [the presence of contagion]. He made an unnecessary mistake, and did not admit it."
