Minister of Education, Rabbi Rafi Peretz, related to the understandings reached with teachers set to go on voluntary leave on Thursday.
"[Our] teachers have demonstrated loyalty to their mission to our dear students," he said.
"I'm happy with the agreements that have been reached and [with the fact] that teachers will be paid in full for the last few days as promised. Long-distance learning has proven itself. We will continue to cultivate and deepen this excellent tool. [While] the future is clouded with uncertainty, it's good that Israeli teachers present a certain anchor of certainty," concluded Peretz.
