The Ministry of Health has announced that a group of tourists from Germany who arrived in Israel on March 2nd were in close contact with a verified coronavirus patient from Beit Jala. After they were informed, they went into isolation a guest house until until they returned to Germany March 9, on El Al Flight LY 357 to Frankfurt and LY 353 to Munich, where some were found to be positive for the virus.
Here are the places where the group stayed during their visit to Israel:
03.03: 11am - 3:30 pm Herodion, 15:00-16:30 Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem
04.03: 9:45-11:45 Western Wall Tunnels, City of David; 12:30-13:15 Moristan Garden Restaurant, Old City, Jerusalem; 17:00 to 17:30 Dormiton Church and site of the "Last Supper"
05.03: 11:30-13:30 Prayer site at Qasr al-Yahud
06.03: 9am to 1pm Masada, including cable car; 17: 30-18: 00 Herods supermarket, Dead Sea
Anyone who was on the above flights or places during the specified hours is asked to enter home isolation under the instructions of the Ministry of Health and report on the Ministry of Health website or its *5400 hotline. If during the isolation symptoms of fever or cough or difficulty in breathing occur, call 101 immediately to find out the need to be checked for the virus.
