China reported 19 new confirmed cases and 17 additional deaths of coronavirus as of March 9, the country’s National Health Commission said.
Of the new cases, 17 were in Hubei province, where the virus was first discovered. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in mainland China to 80,754, with 3,136 deaths in total.
