Peace Now slammed the announcement about the "Sovereignty Road" connecting Ma'aleh Adumim and Jerusalem.
"The purpose of paving the road is one - thwarting the two-state solution. When a temporary defense minister in a government without a mandate approves such a plan, he is actually spitting on the faces of Israeli citizens who are interested in peace and security rather than perpetuating the conflict.
"This move joins many steps that Bennett is taking, such as expanding the settlement in Hevron, and it is time for Bennett to cease the rampage and remember that he is in charge of maintaining Israel's security rather than maintaining the vision of the 'Complete Land of Israel' at the price of security/"
