The Population and Immigration Authority said more than 200 foreign nationals had been denied entry to Israel since the new restrictions over the spread of the coronavirus, which took effect last Friday.
It was also reported that the arrival of thousands of others was denied with the aim of preventing their refusal at the border. In addition, since Friday, 25,365 foreigners have left Israel, while 37,367 foreigners have entered the country.
