Dror Eydar, Israeli ambassador to Italy, has told the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation "I don't think they lost control here. There is a neat protocol here," regarding the coronavirus.
Dr. Eydar explained, "There's an organized protocol here, a hierarchy. Each one deals with its field. If they had not taken the hard measures they had taken - the outbreak would have been much more widespread.” He noted, "There is a relatively high percentage of deaths from the Corona virus here, but I think it has to do with the fact that the big countries have hidden the real data. Yesterday I spoke with an advisor to the Italian Prime Minister who asked: 'Why are we guilty of transparency?'"
