At least 29 Turkish soldiers were killed and 36 others injured in Thursday’s air strike in the Idlib region of Syria, the Turkish Anadolu news agency reported.
The Turkish presidency said in response to the attack, "We have decided to respond to the Syrian regime for aiming its weapons at our soldiers. We will continue our military operations on Syrian soil."
