A report was received on Wednesday about a domestic Siberian huskie tainted with rabies in the town of Fassouta on the northwestern slopes of Mount Meron.
The large gray-white dog answers to the name Sky. The Health Ministry is asking anyone who has been in contact with the infected dog or has animals who may have come into contact with him between February 2nd and the 24th to urgently contact the Akko health office at 04-9955138 or 04-9955103 or the nearest health office to determine the need for preventative treatment.
