A document of understanding was signed to regulate the way crane operators are employed on construction sites in Israel.
The agreement, signed between the Histadrut, the Association of Contractors of Land Builders, and the Association of Employers, will promote effective enforcement of the conditions of employment of the crane operators.
The understandings agreement was signed on the basis of the need to improve awareness of employing crane operators according to law, and to reduce the effects of transactions by unlicensed companies, payment of fictitious pay slips, and forged licenses.
