An 80-year-old Chinese tourist has died of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in France, the French Health Ministry confirmed.
The tourist arrived in France on January 16 and was quarantined in a Paris hospital on January 25.
Though over 1,500 people have died in China, only three have died outside China: One person each in the Philippines, Japan, and Hong Kong.
