The Israeli Energy Ministry notified Noble Energy Thursday that the company will have to cut gas production at the Leviathan gas field off the coast of Israel by 60%, until an investigation into a power glitch is completed.
Earlier this week, a power failure occurred at the offshore rig, leading operators to burn off gas as part of a safety procedure.
