Israeli police carried out a raid Thursday on an unauthorized gas storage facility in the coastal city of Hadera, south of Haifa.
Officers were dispatched Thursday to a property suspected of being used as an illegal storage site for gas tanks.
Police seized trucks used to distribute the gas, but which lacked required safety inspections for such use.
Employees of the illegal gas storage site were called in for questioning by the Energy Ministry, and a criminal investigation was opened in the matter.
