A machine producing safe, clean-drinking water out of air, manufactured by the Israel-based Watergen company, was inaugurated on Wednesday in the southern Gazan locality of Abasan Al-Kabira as part of a pilot project involving Watergen, the Abasan al-Kabira municipality, Israel’s Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and the Palestinian Authority's NGO Damour for Community Development.
