President Reuven Rivlin has eulogized lyricist Yossi Gamzu, who passed away Monday evening at the age of 81.
Writing on Twitter, Rivlin said, " 'There are people with a heart of stone, there are stones with a human heart.' Thus Yossi Gamzo wrote and made our hearts tremble. Yossi, one of Israel's greatest lyricists, passed away tonight, but the lines he left behind were etched into the people's heart for an everlasting souvenir."
