Following the announcement a few months ago that the tomatoes that the Israel Defense Forces supplies to soldiers at its bases would be coming from Turkey, the IDF has returned to serving Israeli tomatoes, according to Channel 12 News.
Public criticism arose because of the desire to strengthen the Israeli economy and working the land in the Gaza perimeter, in the context of the ongoing security escalation in the last year-and-a-half, which took a heavy toll from farmers whose lands were burnt as a result of arson balloons launched by Gaza terrorists.
