A Syrian military official claims that his air defense systems have repelled two Israel Air Force strikes, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
He said he first wave of attacks began at 1:12 am and included bases in the Damascus area. The second wave began at 1:41 am and included bases in Daraa, Quneitra and Damascus suburbs. The attacks were carried out from over southern Lebanon and the Golan Heights.
