Dr. Mike Evans, an evangelical Christian, founder of the Friends of Israel Museum and a member of President Donald Trump's advisory committee, told Kan that he "hears a lot of concern, from people who are disappointed with the program - but they need to be patient and understand that there is an achievement for Israel, and be thankful for the plan presented by President Trump."
Regarding whether evangelicals should press President Trump to give Israel green light to apply sovereignty, Evans said he "does not think the president should be pressured for annexation. Because there is no need to press. You have an opportunity you have never had. Trump will continue to support Israel. So you don't need to worry."
