Nickolay Mladenov, United Nations envoy to the Middle East, warned on Thursday against Israel applying sovereignty in the Jordan Valley following the unveiling of the United States peace plan for Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Speaking at the Institute for National Security Studies' annual conference, the Bulgarian diplomat said, "The expected danger in the first few days after the presentation of the deal of the century is an Israeli annexation of the Jordan Valley. It will close the possibility of negotiations and normalization with the countries of the region. It will not have good results."
