Arbel Asterhan, legal advisor for the Knesset House Committee, said, Thursday morning, that in discussing Member of Knesset Haim Katz's request for immunity from prosecution on corruption charges, "The committee does not replace the court."
Asterhan added, "Voting in the committee and the plenum will be carried out separately for each count. The commission should examine the reasons and not whether what is written in the indictment is true or not."
