Justice Minister Amir Ohana and Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit are at odds over Ohana's intention to form a committee to examine the operation and subordination of the Department for Investigating Police officers, according to Yisrael Hayom.
Minister Ohana is seeking permission from the cabinet to set up the committee soon. It would be headed by a judge. Mandelblit objects on the grounds that the government is transitional and its powers are limited.
