According to Israeli reporter Barak Ravid of Channel 13, US Ambassador David Friedman told reporters that before the Israeli decision on applying sovereignty, the Trump administration wants to form a committee with Israel to discuss the issue, but stressed that it could not be said how long it would take.
"It's a process that requires effort, accuracy and calibration and you have to make sure that the sovereignty application matches the map in our plan," said Friedman.
