Palestinian Authority senior official Saeb Erekat unleased a fierce attack on Trump's plan: "Kushner hates us, Ambassador Friedman is messianic, and Jason Greenblatt is a settler," he told Galei Tzahal.
"The Americans did a copy-paste of the Netanyahu and Yesha Council plan. I heard the details from Netanyahu and his people back in 2011," he said.
He rejected allegations against the PA: "Those who missed the opportunity of the century are the Israelis. Yesterday was a formal American-Israeli withdrawal from the Oslo Accord. After 25 years of negotiations, it is a sad day.
"There's only one solution: There will be a Palestinian state. There will be peace. If not in my day, then in my grandchildren's. It is a pity how many Palestinians and Israelis will die until this happens," he said.
