Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, is preparing for a diplomatic offensive after the publication of the Deal of the Century.
In a Galei Tzahal interview, Danon said: "There is Cooperation with the Americans for moves that will happen in the UN. One of the reasons the Trump administration is trying to promote it now is that there is no partner on the other side, so he prefers to set a time frame." Danon expressed support for annexing the Jordan Valley by saying: "There is broad national agreement on our need to remain in the valley. There is no reason why we should not have sovereignty there as we have in the Golan Heights."
