In preparation for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's trip to the United States, Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz was appointed Prime Minister at today's cabinet meeting.
In addition and setting a precedent, Katz was also appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Ministerial Committee on Security, the Political Security Cabinet, instead of Defense Minister Naftali Bennett.
