An event honoring the victims of the Ukrainian plane that was downed in Iran on January 8 took place in of Kiev’s airport on Sunday.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with Parliament Speaker Dmytro Razumkov, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk, members of the government, other senior officials and thousands of citizens gathered at the runway when an Il-76 aircraft with the bodies of the eleven Ukrainians killed in the downing of the UIA plane landed at the airport.
