Member of Knesset Meir Cohen (Blue and White) has brushed off MK Desta "Gadi" Yevarkan's move to Likud, telling public radio, "The chairs [Knesset seats or ministerial posts -ed.] will not defeat the ideology. We have not lost anything."
On the possibility of ousting Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein, MK Cohen said: "It is still on the table if the plenum is not convened [to appoint a committee to discuss Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's request for immunity from corruption prosecution]. There are other parliamentary tools, including the possibility of ousting him. We don't want to get to that. We understand the pressures being exerted on him."
