2019 capped a decade of leaps and bounds in the number of exit deals conducted by Israeli companies, according to a special report released Tuesday by the IVC company and the Meitar law firm.
According to the data, about 1,210 buyouts occurred since 2010, totaling more than $111 billion, an increase of about 50 percent in the number of transactions and over 800 percent in monetary value. It was also found that since the beginning of the last decade there was a constant increase in the number and value of transactions. Last year, there were 138 deals worth $21.7 billion, compared to 122 deals in 2018, with a total value of $12 billion.
