Journalist on Soleimani killing: 'They almost canceled the operation'

Journalist Ronen Bergman (Yediot Ahronot and New York Times) spoke about the New York Times' expose of Kassem Soleimani's assassination.

He said: "Soleimani's assassination was planned for 18 months. There was very deep thought in the American intelligence community about when, how, and whether to do it. It was definitely not an assassination 'shooting from the hip'."
