Over the weekend, traffic police conducted enforcement activities from which it emerged that more than 3,000 traffic citations were issued, mostly for life-threatening offenses and "road bullying".

Approximately 850 drivers were apprehended by officers in the field exceeding the speed limit, tickets and summonses were issued accordingly. 80 drivers' licenses were revoked from drivers who committed serious offenses.

With the intention of protecting electric vehicle riders' lives, emphasis was placed on enforcement of life-threatening offenses and approximately 140 tickets were issued for these across the country.
