there is a concern about flooding in the Judean desert and the south from today (Tuesday) afternoon until Saturday night, according to the Nature and Parks Authority.
In light of this, on Wednesday and Thursday 8-9.1.2020, Nahal Darga and all the hiking routes in the Judean Desert, the paths in Nahal Og and Nahal Prat will be closed.
The Authority emphasizes that it is absolutely forbidden to enter river channels if there is a flow of water on foot or in a vehicle until the water level is completely recedes, and that doing so is exceedingly dangerous and life-threatening.
