Egypt expressed resentment at Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh's attendance on Monday at Qassem Soleimani's funeral in Tehran, according to the London-based pan-Arab newspaper Dar Al-Hayat.
Haniyeh, who embarked from Gaza on a political trip a few weeks ago, pledged to Egypt not to visit Iran.
