Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit is expected to tell a cabinet meeting that there is no legal impediment in appointing Member of Knesset David Bitan (Likud) to the post of Minister, according to Channel 13 News.
Police have recommended that Bitan be tried on corruption charges.
